Not that I am aware of. Last November I was able to hear them in Conroe with a GE SR-3.

Now for a real answer.....KRLD-1080 is 50KW non-directional day, directional night from the two towers they've transmitted from in Garland since the late 1930's. They have been experimenting with IBOC as of late and it's possible that the addition of the digital signal may have cut their reach in the daytime.
They don't run IBOC at night, so the night signal/pattern is still the blowtorch it always has been to the west/southwest.
Kudos to KRLD for the nice paint job on the towers....they were painted a few years ago but still look great.

Isn't the null pretty gentle toward Hartford? I've heard KRLD in the Florida panhandle before and it gets to Houston easily at night. How is the signal "behind the pattern," for lack of a better term?

When I worked for KAAY (1090) in Little Rock, AR back in the
70's, I could pick up KRLD regularly in our deep null, which
was roughly on the axis from Memphis to Texarkana. In particular,
KRLD was readable on a regular basis in Brinkley, AR while we
were quite weak there when our night pattern kicked in.
So...there's a report from a few decades back from the backside
of the KRLD pattern.
