KRDX

Not sure what's going on with them right now. The website states something new coming soon. Hopefully it's an active rocker like KUPD in Phoenix. But it's probably just ANOTHER classic rock or alt. rock station.

Ted's applied to move the station from 98.5 to 104.5 on the dial - and moving from Vail to Corona De Tucson.

How will the new legal ID sound?

"KRDX Corona De Tucson/Tucson" (sounds almost redundant)

"KRDX Corona De Tucson" (the old "bury the suburban COL" trick)

Sounds like a producton person's dream to produce that ID. Gimme some splicing tape and a razor blade. Oh, wait --gimme some digital stuff and--- just in case--some splicing tape.

More than a carrier on 98.5 and 104.5?

I've heard some actual programming on 98.5 recently, albeit infrequently (sounds like a cross between classic rock and the bob incidentally) Anyone know if that's the solar/wind power going in and out?

How about 104.5? I've tuned it in once in a while; they're broadcasting, but only a silent carrier when I check it out.
