RESPONSIBILITIES:
ABC Radio – America Listens to ABC
Company: ABC Radio – Radio Disney
Title: Station Manager
Overall Responsibility:
Manage the daily, short and long term operations of the station ensuring overall success while maintaining, protecting and upholding the Disney brand image. Tasks must be executed utilizing Disney Company Standards and Ethics while protecting FCC licensing assets and adhering to FCC regulations. Must be able to interface with Corporate Partners and direct reports on a regular basis. Also, maintain the confident and professional demeanor necessary to uphold existing and build new relationships essential to the station & Radio Disney.
Key areas of Responsibility:
•Protect the FCC license
•Exceed all revenue goals
•Protect the Disney brand
•Maintain EAS log and Public File
•Control expenses
•Lead the sales efforts at Radio Disney San Antonio
•No surprises – practice good communication skills
•Attend weekly staff meetings
•Complete all requested business related reports
Required Qualifications:
•Education: Minimum 2 years college and 5 years sales experience
•Work Experience: minimum 5 years sales experience
•Technical Skills: strong sales skills and Microsoft Office applications
•Non-Technical Skills: Creative, good organizational skills, highly motivated, self starter, good communication skills
