KRIK 100.5FM Update?

It's been off the air since Hurricane Harvey destroyed it.

Other stations, such as 91.5 KHVT-FM, have rebuilt and started broadcasting again.

Now that we are approaching four years, is it safe to say KRIK is dead?

It's license is still active.
Hispanic Target Media owns it. However they don't do much with it as of late. I think it was Regional Mexican before it got destroyed, apparently by Harvey. Was it on the air right up until Harvey?

Come to think of it, I haven't heard any other of their TX stations on recently. They have 106.1 also in Victoria. They have 102.5 in San Diego TX and 93.5/97.9 in George West TX, All have been silent for years with the exception of 102.5, that was just broadcasting a humming sound a couple years ago when I heard it last.

I was driving to Laredo last month and thought to check for 93-5. Nothing.

Same thing for 95-9 out of Freer.

I didn't think to check for 102-5 in SD.

95.9 has had questionable operation for yearrrrrsss... i dont remember how or why, but i ended up talking to someone years ago about it who had some inside info.

I think 95.9's owner isn't even local. Just one man or something with no staff I'm guessing.
