We in Palm Springs are curious as to why Kris Long left Phoenix. Just wondering why he would wind up in the tiny Palm Springs market at KPSP-LP here. I did happen to see clips of him on NBC's Dateline a week ago regarding the 2000 arson case. He seems to be doing a good job out here.

Hmmmm...we just weren't a large enough market for him? Aside from his Ted Baxter delivery, Kris just wasn't a warm fuzzy and came across quite distant. His smile was contrived and no matter who they paired him with, Kris just didn't connect. While some say it was the curse of ABC15, Nurse Jeff and I know he would have met the same fate on any other Valley station. BTW...quaint town you have out there. Those windmills only add to the ugliness of driving between SoCal and Phoenix.
