*Taylor was one of my interns at WMMS/WMVX in '99/00. Glad to see she's doing well.

And what is this poor girl getting for her extra work? Insiders tell me that
voicetrackers only get 5 or 6 grand a year extra (at the most) to do the additional work. Which, if you break it down, means that the owners are playing about 3 bucks an hour for a daily show.

No wonder they love voicetracking.
Edited by HHH on 03/04/06 04:29 PM.

...and,if both sides are sharing information, and if she's organized, given four breaks an hour, she can voice track an entire week in maybe an hour and a half..not a bad deal from this vantage point..beats the hell out of John Tesh, which their compeition in Canton runs, by any measure..

Krissy also was on in Mansfield and Lancaster

Krissy-

She also was the other half of the WYHT Morning Rush with Barry and Krissy. She also worked at KISS FM in Mid Ohio and WLAN in Lancaster. Its good to see her moving up!

Re: Krissy also was on in Mansfield and Lancaster

I remember her from her days in Mansfield. From what I remember, she never could hold an intelligent conversation in the morning show environment, but as a CHR jock where there's not as much pressure to hold discussions, she does a fine job.

she gets xtra $$$, and more importantly, exposure. Big Rig (WMMS and others) tracks about 7-8 stations. 8x$7k = $56k extra per year.

as a Talent, get paid while you can.

COULD NOT AGREE MORE........

in days past it was free lance commercial v/o work....NOW it's V/T work.....

absolutely right.........take all you can.....but BE SMART......

don't take more than you can do WELL.....
