Kristen Gates on the Bull morning show

I heard Kristen on Bull's morning show this morning. One caller told her it was good to hear her on the air again, so maybe she'll light a spark. Have they made a formal announcement yet? Maybe they're waiting until Cledus get back from his honeymoon?
 
They said on the air that they had her "officially under contract" (and gave her a fruit basket), so I guess it's official. ::)
 
Ha! Which will last longer WUBL or the marriage ? - thats horrible. But it is what people are thinking.
 
Clearly the Bull will last longer. It is not flipping at least until it is time to play xmas music.

BTW, how did this affect Lexi Kaye?

The earliest the Toro flips is after the last day of baseball. Like DAVE-FM and the Falcons, the Braves have a say in the format. If the Bull flips whither the Braves? I know we have discussed this before. Let's say the Bull flips and the Braves opt out, where do they wind up? Cox probably woundn't pay for such a devauled product. They would have to go to...ummm...ah...still thinking...coming up with...nothing.
 
Well, if anybody can "shovel the bull" it's got to be Kristen!

Not only that but I always thought she was trying way to hard to be "the star" and resented Cadillac Jack I can't even imagine the chemistry or lack there of between her and the flaming redneck. When is he back from his honeymoon? I thought it was odd that they would debut a new cast member and not have him there but then again everything they do seems odd...not that there's anything wrong with that!

Props to her for landing the gig. Perhaps you hit on why she's no longer with Cadillac. If true, maybe she learned a lesson. If not, she won't last long at the Bovine.
 
Kristen's bio is now officially on the Bull's website. Her picture looks like the same one Kicks used. Be interesting to see if her and Cledus have any chemistry, especially if they're friends like Cledus mentioned in an article written after she was let go at Kicks.
I personally hope it works out and that the station succeeds, a little competition is good. I'm not sure why people on this board dislike the station so much, other than the fact it's owned by Clear Channel, and that to me isn't a good enough reason. Can't complain about the music, they probably have a similar playlist as Kicks, so must be the C.C. hatred factor.
 
Kristen is a very talented broadcaster,. She worked well with Caddy at Kicks. The job cuts were all about the $$$$. Dallas had senority and Caddy and she worked together at the old Eagle.

I think The Bull is lucky to get her. There is one thing though....the Bull's billboards ask if your drive to work was funny, but the picture of Cledus is kind of pouty/angsty. Mixed message much?

What am I missing, Rhubarb had more seniority then anyone in the building including Dallas. Following your logic it should be Cadillac and Rhubarb in the morning. So it would seem to me that it was a logical decision to keep the one (Dallas) with more talent and let the other (Kristen) go.
Regardless your dead on on the Cledus BB, he was may be funny looking but the show is anything but funny. I give Kristen less then 12 months. I just have to remember to dig up this post when it happens.
Kind of like my prediction on the demise of 99X from the terrestrial airwaves.If you question that searc my posts and then check the date.
 
Now now dear, you and I both know you gotta have a morning sideCHICK to fill the creatuve equation in this town (except for TRG which has more to do with lawsuits than formulas) 'twas always thus and always thus will be.

And I never said Cledus was funny...because that would make me either an idiot, a liar or an idiot liar which means I'd running for public office somewhere. I simply think the billboards are concepted badly.

##&** gas prices going to drop....huh? huh?
 
is Cadillac Jack funny? Don't know because I've never listened to him, except now and then when he was on in the afternoon?
 
Is Cadillac Jack funny? Yeah, about as funny as a case of the measels. Never cared for him that much with all his little catch phrases. Wonder if he's still "putting the spurs to another half-hour of music" which he'd been using for over 10 years.

i agree. kristen is very talented. i met her once and she was very kind. ive said it once and i'll say it again,
kristen is the beez knees :D
 
Kristen is very talented and will make a great add to The Bull Morning Show. Come on guys, give credit where credit is due! She has paid her dues.....

Where did I do my morning show? On my patio with a pastry, cup of coffee and the paper. I've been retired for over ten years - I don't need a morning show - I had a REAL career!
