Kristi Leigh out at Mix 107.7 after 22 years

Same thing happened at WEBN when they let go of Bob The Producer and Wildman Walker. a year or so ago. I'm surprised they haven't done the same thing to Jim Scott or Segman Dennison. She would fit in well at K99.1.

I figured sooner or later Kristi would be out. 22 years is a long time at one radio station, and this of course is Cheap Channel we're talking about. They care nothing about loyal employees.

I read the article, and it sounds to me this was not of Kristi's choice. ( from the wording)
What suck is that once out of work there is SO MANY others in the hunt with you, and if there are no openings, then there are no openings.
I was not an avid listener, but she sounded good when I did tune in. Time will tell and best of luck to her.

Kristi did evenings at K99 in 1989. Wish her well.
That was the same year K-99.1 FM launched and replaced Easy Listening 99.1 WHIO-FM. I'm not much of a Country fan, but was she one of the first jocks hired? I also heard somewhere that she once worked for WING-AM as a news announcer.
