KRIZ 1420, KYIZ 1620, KZIZ 1560 Question

Hey Guys:

I know that in 2001 the IZ stations seperated into 3 different stations.

1. KRIZ 1420 R&B oldies

2. KZIZ 1560 Gospel

3. KYIZ 1620 Urban

What I was wondering when 1560(1990) and 1620(1998) went on the air did they simulcast 1420's Urban format or did they have seperate formats?

Both 1560 and 1620 simulcasted 1420 when they first came into the Chris Bennett fold as "The Z-Twins". Over time, 1560 went Gospel while 1620 went hip-hop/R&B and 1420 focused on R&B oldies and blues
