KRLA Is Now "The Answer"

Talkers is reporting that KRLA and sister station KTIE in San Bernardino will be rebranding as "The Answer" (which Salem's WNYM has been using for about a month or so) and in conjunction with the new moniker, they will be hiring a new morning host, Heidi Harris - most recently heard in Las Vegas.

2 days into their new rebranding as "The Answer", it does not appear IMO to have added any flair to their on-air imaging. All the KRLA & KTIE call letter references are gone, except for TOH, but are still referenced frequently on their websites. Thoughts?

@David: Speaking of legal ID's: Here in New York, the "Answer" station here is doing something interesting in that they give out the NASDAQ symbol for station owner Salem Communications. Are they doing likewise on the West Coast? Or would they even be able to, considering they're probably doing a dual legal ID for KRLA and KTIE?

@DToTheJ: Yes. KRLA has been doing the SALM on the NASDAQ bit for about a month now, and that has continued with the rebranding this week to The Answer. I do not listen to KTIE, who's signal comes from nearly 60 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles. KRLA and KTIE are NOT simulcasting, however they carry much of the same programming and the new AM Drive show airs on both stations. However, both stations have their own TOH and :30 newscasts.
