This is a joke that will be laughed out of court.
I really like the part about calls from Democrats getting screened and not aired ...

I'm not so sure that this guy won't get a hearing. This is likely a first shot across the bow in the coming attempts to reenact the fairness doctrine. Another interesting point is the claim that free advertising is being provided to conservative causes. Something that intrigues me, a lot, is how they come up with a new and controversial campaign commercials and they get it played to death, at no charge, on all of the talk shows. The other fascinating claim is that all of the politicians and their partisans claim the media is biased toward the other side. How can the media owners all be biased two ways, it just can't be. Either they all lean one way, or the other, or some lean one way and others the opposite direction.
The truth is, at least to me, that as a person who has the time now that I’m partially retired to really listen to talk radio. And being here in LA and having internet access I have the opportunity to hear all of the flavors out there. What I’m seeing is that the majority of the interesting talk shows are for whatever reason hosted by conservatives or at least those who espouse the conservative view. Only a few shows are hosted by compelling progressives, notably Stephanie Miller and Ed Schultz on the national level and Michael Jackson locally.
Now the argument could be made that the liberals don’t get the fair share air time, but I think that if anybody has a compelling point of view and an interesting way to present it that they would get the chance. Broadcasting is a business and ratings are how they gauge their performance so it you are getting the ears you’ll get the microphone. If you don’t then there is always internet radio and PBS.
