KRLD Imaging?

Anybody know who did KRLD's new music and jingles? Hate to say it, but I liked the old custom TM stuff better. The sung jingles sound horrible and the logo stinger is not as strong; KRLD has four call letters, but they're now using a package made for a station with three call letters.

I'm sure no one notices the details so I guess this is just a rant.. but still curious as to what company made them.

Agreed. There sister CBS stations such as KNX have much better imaging. Sounds lik ;De a package they traded for that came on LP's. ;D

Surprised they changed out so soon. The package they were using was put in on Nov. 5, 2009. The only reason I know that was because that was the day of the Fort Hood shooting.

The Ticket is working on 10 years with its current package. But I'm sure there's a correlation with ratings.

That is link is the old sounders KRLD 1080AM used. That is NOT the new sounds. The new KRLD 1080AM suck. That need to go back to the old sounds. Boardops or the news reports need to watch and listen to the break music. They need to cut off and on better.
Dan the MAN!!!
North Texas Radio MAN!!!

The above link is for the old package they got rid of last week. It was catchy and memorable. A little "twangy" but it worked. Current stuff is just plain boring. TM has put out some good stuff recently so I'd be surprised if they made their current package.

On second thought, I shouldn't have been so surprised with the KRLD change-out as much. They used to change the package every year or two when they carried the Rangers, and the Rangers network would change in tandem with similar sounders.

This year, they did change in March like they used to when they had the Rangers rights, but that's the only comparison.

Ding-ding-ding-BOMP-BOMP. Start talking.
