Haven't heard anything.
But hey there, rrasto.
Welcome to the radio-info.com.

Within the next week, you will be checking this site EVERY DAY. Trust me, its like a drug. It is addicting!

I remember when my post number was 1. Now i'm almost in tripple digits. And I don't know what the hell is wrong with me!!

So, welcome to the club.
(the veterans, the real drug addicts, will kill me for saying that. There are some on this site who have posted over 2000 times! I guess I don't really count as a regular until I get to 100. You might think, "Dang, I have a long way to go before I'm 'a regular'", but that's a good thing. Keep your innocence as long as you can.) (this bears shockingly disturbing memories of high school.)

Good job, though. He'll only have to manage a news staff of, what, two reporters?

Yes you're correct. Todd comes from 'LBJ beating the 2nd runner up for ND - who's been "interm ND" (and has been an editor there since what, 2001??) since Steve left. But she DID get a 2% raise to compensate for her not getting the job. <P ID="signature">______________

Happy jock talk

Yeah, they read "The Dallas Morning News" and "Fort Worth Star-Telegram" over the air.

In between stories, it's happy jock talk ... lame stuff ...

stuff you'd expect from a ex-Top 40 PD ...

Including himself ...

Has anyone told him KLBJ has a better news department?

And Austin is a better place to live ...

And ...

And some people are so bold as to say KRLD management has no sense of humor.

He was nuts to move here just to be unemployed after his first house payment is paid.

Welcome Todd

Todd Jefferies from KLBJ is
> > new KRLD news director

Todd worked at WBAP back in the early '90s. He joined KLBJ to be the morning anchor. To his credit, he stayed there a dozen years, and finally rose to News Director a year or two ago. DFW is his home, and I'm sure he's looking forward to moving up to 'Market 5'. He's a legacy newsman; his dad was Charles Jefferies, long of CBS News. I could pile on and throw mud at Todd and his new employers, but we all know what the situation there is. All we can say is, "Hello, Todd. Welcome to hell."

Most likely not. It's a a matter of perspective--on whose ox is being gored, or paid.
