Maybe they were off-the-air in mourning of the Dixie Chicks Grammy appearance and awards.

If you recall KRMD was one on the stations who bashed and banned the Chicks from their airwaves and had a CD crushing publicity stunt after they spoke of their embarrassment of Bush at a concert in Britain. I guess this is to be expected in a air force town.
