KRNA vs. Rock 108

Just curious, since it's been a year since Lou and Scott left Rock 108 for KRNA, what everyone likes better, 'The Big Show' or 'Lou and Scott in the Morning'. With all due respect to 108, their morning show just doesn't compare to Lou and Scott, IMO. Lou and Scott have had an on-air chemistry since Day 1. 'TBS' seems like a couple frat boys with radio gigs.

I'd have to agree with you mainman. KRNA has a MUCH BETTER product on in the morning. I would wager it has to do with one entity...Michael Cross. From what I've heard from his current employees, he spends ZERO time developing on air talent or giving guidance. You'd think that someone with as much experience as Michael Cross...he'd be able to better direct his staff. Isn't that what a Program DIRECTOR is supposed to do? Then again, he's probably too busy wading through all that great, agressive, new music they play to bother with his weaknesses of talent on the air. IMO.

I'd have to disagree with you very much Stickman.
1- Michael Cross does take the time to sit down with his employees and gives them guidance. I know for a fact(talking to his employees) that he has regular "air-checks" with them. What these employees take or don't from the "air-check" is up to the jock themselves. From your past experiences as being a jock you should know that, but obviously you didn't listen to your pd because your not employed right now.

2- Lets look at how long L&S have been together, of course they are going to sound better, because of how long they have been together. The current Big Show has been together only less then a year, but they are sounding better and better each day.

I have heard from a very reliable source that Bahakel will be selling it's Waterloo stations (KXEL/KOKZ/KWLO/KFMW) in the next week or two to a "big time player" in the radio industry. Cumulus already owns stations in that market...could it be Clear Channel?? Anyone hearing anything??

Two questions for you Stickman, this is the second post you have said you had "very reliable sources", How reliable are/is your source(s), since the above stations mentioned have not been sold? If I were you I would get new sources..imo
What is your beef with KFMW/Michael Cross?

Imo- Get a life, if you were as focused on getting a job as you are trying to bash one and ones station, maybe you wouldn't be so mad and you too could live happily everafter.
