KRNB drops the "Old School"

As their name that is. They are back to the "105 dot 7 KRNB", and have changed their slogan from "70's and 80's R&B" to "The Greatest Variety of Classic Soul and R&B". They are still heavy on the old school, but they drop in a new r&b song here and there. I still say flip to gospel.

If DFW ever gets an Urban AC with a great signal, both KRNB and KSOC are toast. I think "Sunny" should move in that direction, but with the popularity of the "Hurban" format, I think they will eventually go in that direction.<P ID="signature">______________

Isn't Casa 106.7 essentially already doing an "Hurban" format?

Yeah, but the signal isn't as good as 97.1 and Clear Channel has had a lot of success with it in Houston.
