Sounds good. I was a bit confused with the newer stuff, but if it sounds good and fits the format, I say let the music keep spinnin! The only problem I had was waking up the neighbors (miles away) with my 5,000,000 watt sound system.
PS- Can you say MEGA WATT?

If that is true all I can say is glad I don't have to pay the power bill...
if it is true, yikes! that beats being on LSC's 3,000 watt college station (the one I am on while back up at school...)
Is that thing portable at all?
take a vacation up to vt...

Solar power. Will upgrade soon to 1,000,000,000 Watts. Can you say GIGAWATT? I use superconductors and Tesla Technology. It's all very simple. Do you really think George Jetson is worried about money?

Listening to a DJ coming out of a 4 year sleep this evening was very rewarding. He played Wizard Of Oz, when the Tin Man get's the oil. My friends all like it too!

I grew up thinking that talk belonged on AM and FM was meant for music, and in the case of this music, I've missed it this past week. Q104, as far as I know, doesn't play Korn or System, and the "alternative" that Z-100 throws in isn't worth sitting through the rest of the music for, so I'm loving every second of the music on 92.3.
______________

As far as the music goes on weekends, I think 92.3 FM sounds the best it has in a long time.

Agreed. They haven't sounded this good since the time they first went Alternative ('93-'94, if I'm not mistaken). Since they no longer have to pound the hits ad nauseum, this leaves room for a bit more variety during the weekends. Now if they had done this 24/7, maybe K-Rock would have been a success. Maybe they will reconsider when Free-FM falls flat on its face (and given the fact that it relies on mostly inexperienced personalities to carry a talk format, it's bound to happen).

Personally i didn't like the Free Fm weekend music, the playlist is too broad for me. However this weekend i did get a taste of the other free fms down the pike. Traveling to Preston, MD i listened to Free Fm Philly which sounded great. Its more active Rock leaning and has a great mix of 90's and today rock. They play a little led zep and AC DC but overall its a great rock mix. Free FM Baltimore was awsome, it has the HFS music format but they seem to concentrate heavy on the 90's Alternative which to me is good cause alot came out of the 90's for alternative. Sounded great and wasn't too broad like LIR up here. I'd like to see K-Rock lean more active Rock, but that's just me. I'd like to see the same for the Bone out here on LI. Just my opinion i don't think the guy that listens too Rolling stones wants to here Korn, Or Bad Company with Godsmack to follow. Thanks
