> > Given Young's original blunder of earth shattering magnitude...paying a record-breaking high price for KRON then losing the NBC affiliation...everything else stupid they've done pales in comparison. The seller- the Chronicle Corp (including members of the historic DeYoung publishing family...no relation to Young) must have laughed until their enormous trust funds exploded. Considering the huge debt that Young has to service, I'm surprised it hasn't turned into an infomerical outlet. Despite it all, they must manage to pay decent salaries to their anchors (Moore, Liviakis, etc), or they would have jumped ship by now, too.
