It's the typical half-baked A to Z featured on Audacy alternative stations where it takes less than a day and a half to go through the whole alphabet. My local station just started its fourth airing of the feature since Friday.
I have noticed some 90s songs spiked in that normally don't receive normal airplay, which was nice. Also seems most currents and recurrents have been removed for this feature.
The sheer number of Pearl Jam singles that were omitted ought to be a black eye for all Audacy alternative stations. Heck, there were a number of Green Day and Foo Fighters songs missing, too.
For a station with as much musical heritage as KROQ, the fact the A to Z can replayed multiple times over the same holiday weekend is a bad look.
