I don't follow niche formats like Alt closely enough to know who the "show killer" is... so add me to the list.

Yep.

What I find "fun" in general is the old "why do they play that song over and over" when the song is one of the highest testing everywhere.

And then they suggest playing specific proven stiffs instead.

This is what I call "B.E.G. Syndrome. Named after Van Morrison's perennial hit.
