KROY 99.7? "Cristian wave 99.7 KROY"?

I was reminded by this station when it use to play some heavy christian rock, I would love to see this station come back, I use to listen to it all the time when they played heavy christian rock. I wish it could come back. The station is Silent now and has been since around the first of this year.

Would those call letters happen to signify the first name of the station's owner???

I think Fort Bend Broadcasting owns them.

Smit, you're absolutely right! Roy Henderson has no f'n clue how to run a radio station! How many on-air people do you know that are required to work an 8 hour day? Oh, and then can't pay them for it! Ask ANYONE who works at KTWL (Bob-FM) in The Woodlands about BOUNCED PAY CHECKS.

Smithy,

You shouldn't cast stones. Taking parts from one station to return another to the air would cause that to happen, too, wouldn't it?

Want more?

And to you, Traffic Girl,

Were you the one that was let go for double billing?

Ah, Victoria radio...you gotta luv it....just like the 'Ol West', when six-shooters were the order of the day and anything went as it was the law of the land.

Sorry, I didnt attend this thread to turn out like this....
I was just reminded by that station, I would like to see it come back.

To Roy Henderson, do you own KROY or not?
And also, (I am not trying to get you mad or anything) why do you keep some stations off the air? Are you waiting on something or having engineering problems? What is the reason?

Another station he owns and is off the air is 94.5 KEMA. The station reaches downtown S.A. on southward.

saradio69 ,

Correction...it IS on the air.
Another engineer was brought in to fix it right.

This station must be running with low wattage because I was in Floresville, TX and there was nothing but static. Which leads me to believe this station is still OFF the air.

There's not even supposed to be any signal from it making it to Floresville.

I never heard that station yet, what is the format?

jras20, before the station went of the air it was Country.

Ummm, yes there is. Again, you could hear KEMA 94.5 all the way to downtown S.A. before the station went off the air.

Here's the link- http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=KEMA&service=FM&status=C&hours=U

Nope. That would be the fringe and mostly unlistenable. In the case of KROY, Floresville is outside of the fringe.

The link is to KEMA not KROY. Floresville is in the listening range for KEMA.

Yeah, it's in for KEMA. I wasn't aware that the post changed topics and stations.
