KRPH sold

They have the worst sounding audio at 99.5...left channel only, most of the time.
Needs a serious broadcasters to turn it around.

MMTC is a pass-thru operation, turning the sellers' losses into donations then extracting some cash value from buyers. Their name pops up occasionally.. I remember they became license holders for some LPTVs / translators a few years ago in Hamptom Roads in another such transaction. I love our tax laws!

Weird transaction here. Deportes y Música Comunicaciones is donating KRPH Morristown to MMTC, which is then selling it for $7,500 to Jeff Chang—without the existing transmitter site lease (he may lease or move it).

I wonder if 99.5 can make the same "Crown King" move other stations have and rimshot Phoenix with a better signal. I need to pull out my maps and draw all the little circles and arrows that would provide the answer, but I'll bet someone else reading this can do it faster. :)

Nope. Pretty much stuck where it is.
