Well that was quick....No sooner than the FCC announces they're closing the Seattle office that somebody out in the hinterlands decides to play it fast and loose.
I'll drive up there today. But I'm 99% certain there isn't anything fishy going on. I mean seriously, where are they going to go? The Point Roberts towers aren't even built yet. KARI/KVRI are diplexed and I don't think Saga wants anything to do with this. They probably got better filtering because I'm also pretty sure this isn't the first time somebody has complained about their interference problem. Or they're operating at reduced power for some reason. They still have to get a signal into Surrey.
As for religious, KRPI still broadcasts some paid Christian programs, but only on early Sunday mornings. The rest of the time, it's wall to wall Bhangra and Punjabi talk.
