KRTH HD/HD2 signal.

Welp, I tried HD with KRTH 101.1 but couldn't get a HD signal. I live in Simi Valley which is about 45 miles from the station. I can get perfect reception with regular FM but nothing with HD/HD-2 using the new Sony tabletop HD radio. I even tried using a heavy outdoor FM antenna. So much for the theory that HD signal reaches as far as the analog signal. In fact I was hardly able to get any HD signals except one station (while the analog signal was almost perfect on all the stations).

I wonder if CBS Radio will stream KRTH HD-2 like they did with WCBS-FM HD2 (Their Jack station) and some other stations.

A.

The range of HD signals is very disappointing. I'm actually thinking of selling mine.

Did you call the station to see if the signal was working? I bought the same model at Circcuit City so I could get smooth jazz (The Oasis) which is the HD-2 for our awful Movin station in Dallas/Fort Worth. Anyway, the signal was out most of last weekend and they were unaware of it. It was back Monday morning.
