KRTY's Tim Anthony

It's surprising that one of the SF stations hasn't snapped up Tim Anthony for their staff. He's got the major market sound, and despite that he's currently working a C&W format, he could easily do ANY format.

Tim, you've got it going' on. Good work on KRTY.

Is there a C&W in SF?

Not since BonnInt blew up "the Bear" and turned KZBR into Max. You're right about TA- a good jock and a good guy.

Is this the same Tim Anthony that worked at KDND/107.9 The End in Sacramento a few years ago? Or have I completely lost my mind and thinking of someone else?

yep, same guy, he's been off and on at KRTY for awhile now, but he's back and KRTY is still sounding the same as it always has----small market country station. if only they could add some repeaters in the fremont area to boost signal over most of the east bay and sunol grade.

You just made every country programmer out there cringe. It hasn't been C&W for many many years. It's just "country".

Re: KRTY, The End Sacto

Oh, I agree with you it it's the same guy. He sounded great at The End. If I'm not mistaken he also was on the air at Z95.7/San Fran for a short while in its early days. Solid jock. Glad to hear he's working.
