KRUD on the air, KORL(AM) gone for now

According to another Hawaii radio message board, KRUD (1130) has returned on air. Though the details are sketchy ffrom where I sit, a post on that board says that KRUD is airing the same Tagalog and Japanese ("K-Japan") programming that was heard on KORL (1180.) In the meantime, KORL (AM) is off the air.

From what I've read on the subject, KRUD has a much stronger signal than the 1180 KORL. The big question now is: Will Hotchman Hawaii do anything with 1180? Discuss.

KRUD has changed to KPHI. I think the KPHI calls are there to reflect programming from the Philippines, i.e., Filipino programming.
