KRUM-LD

Here's an attachement from their latest FCC Renewal:

And here's a couple of screen grabs from a clip I recorded this morning. Can't make the video file small enough to post here, trust me that these screen grabs are seconds apart:

So yes, you do rebroadcast a full power station. Note also the mis-configured time and complete lack of guide or PSIP data. I also didn't see a KRUM ID but then I only watched at the top of the hour.

Note that the licensed yet unbuilt K20NF-D also lists the 15th St SW address as theirs along with a bunch of other LP TV stations and lets not forget that FM station in Darrington...

Are they that inept at programming and engineering or are they just ignoring FCC rules because they are inconvenient? Who knows.

And no, I'm not going to go down there and have a word with them or offer to help. Pretty sure it wouldn't be well received

Your linkhement is not working for me. Just errors out.

Thanks for the screenshots. Couldn't be too much more obvious, could it?

I don't understand what you're getting at. Even if they made that statement at their last license renewal, there is no rule standing in their way if they retransmit another station with that station's permission.

Now, if they were a Class A LPTV, the lack of local programming would be an issue. But they are not (their suffix is "-LD" not "-CD".

What am I missing here?
