KRVR The River Is No Longer Smooth

How appropriate. I just tuned on the River's stream to hear what kind of adult hits they're doing, and the first song I hear is "Shattered Dreams" by "Johnny Hates Jazz." How appropriate for an ex-jazz station. LOL!

Re: KRVR The River Is No Longer Smooth Jazz

The new KRVR is not your average Adult Hits station. Unlike your Jack & Bob station, KRVR still has the dj's. In fact, they are the same dj's as the Smooth Jazz station. No one got canned. Plus this is not your ordinary Adult Hits station, They do not play Alternative Music plus they throw in a Smooth Jazz tune every once in awhile. plus they still maintain the sunday morning New Age/World Music show hosted by co-owner, Jim Bryan. So in a sense, they did not sell out. They are just not a 100% Smooth Jazz station.
