KRVR The River

Hello everyone, I have a question or two about KRVR in the Modesto area. Are they still a smooth station? Last I heard, they were playing more vocals songs than usual. How are they in the ratings? My computer doesn't always want to work for some reason when I check them. ::) Thank you for any information you can give me. :)

Yes they are still Smooth Jazz. Lots more vocals but still Smooth Jazz. Amazing that this format is losing many major markets but still lives on in Modesto. Same for Adult Standards KVIN-920, another format disappearing across the country. Thanks to its local owner. If these stations were owned by the big corporations, 920 could have become a brokered station while 105.5 would become another rock or hip-hop station.

Okay, thank you for the information. 8)
