KRWM 106.9 "Warm 107" goes all Holiday

It started sometime today, the usual DJ re-naming including the traffic person from Metro ("Silver Bells") ::)

Warm is now your "Christmas connection."

"Spirit" blogged on Halloween that they again will not 'over commercialize' Christmas and will start November 28 this year. It's been pulled off or deeply buried on their Web site so I can't link.

JOKING: When will KMCQ go all holiday? Oooh, I probably just gave someone an idea. ;D
 
The elves took over about 5:00 I think. Went into the mall for about an hour and came out to hear 106.9 playing Christmas music....

I'll say this much - this is the EARLIEST KRWM has EVER started it's Christmas music run......
 
Even more reason to start early. Plus they get all four weeks of the last phase of the arbitron instead of three. Maybe that is a cynical comment. No wonder I need to get into the holiday mood earlier this year.

Both my wife and my mother in-law look forward to this yearly switcheroo on 106.9 (my own mom would have too, bless her heart.) But all It does RIGHT NOW....THIS EARLY is remind me of all the work I have to do around the house to get it ready for the holidays ("What? I bought three brand new extension cords last year! And I packed them away myself!....What do you mean they're not there?!")

I swear the elves are conspiring against me.......

But the real question is, radio wise; Will KMPS (or even KKWF) flip to All (Country) Christmas too?

Could KAFE flip for the first time to All Christmas after Thanksgiving (there's a rumor locally that says that COULD be a possibility.)

Could KXXO down south?
