KRXI, FOX 11 Reno

I know this is a California board, but since KRXI geographical close to California, and also it covers parts of California, I guess this is appropriate board to post. Does KRXI produce their 10 O'clock news or do they use their sister station in San Francisco to produce the 10 O'clock news for them. Also, what happen to the plans for KREN 10 O'clock news? Are there plans to produce their own news or use another tv station to produce for them?

I read that KTVU does indeed produce the 10 O'Clock News on KRXI, since they are co-owned. KTVU's 10 O'Clock News is also simulcasted on two other stations in far northern California.

I worked in Reno for 6 weeks right after 9/11 and I seem to remember that the KRXI 10 PM newscast was just a simulcast of KTVU's news. I remember wondering why Reno residents would even care what is happening in the Bay Area. I usually watched KTVN or KRNV.KRXI news must still be a KTVU simulcast, because even the KRXI website reports Bay Area news as "local". (http://www.foxreno.com/news/index.html)
