Why does the station readout say KHRS-FM on my radio? KWOD says KWOD-FM and KSEG says KSEG-FM. Is something going on at Entercom that we don't know yet? Or is the engineer to lazy to set it right?

KHRS-FM is probably an error. KRXQ is pretty solid right now. As far as the others, leave it to setting preferences. Some people put an FM suffex or an (AM suffex) after a station regardless of the official legal name.

KHRS is an FM station in Minnesota.

Sounds like they're using Harris equipment. KHRS is likely default calls for either the Harris Importer or Exporter.

My HD radio in the house says KHRS too. That must be the case that you mentioned.

I'm guessing it has to do with the HD sub channels

HD-1 and HD-2 say the same thing. KHRS

Back in June, somebody here on radio-info said that's the Harris default. It'll probably get re-programmed now that we mentioned it here:
