I've been listening to Saturday Night at the Oldies on KRZ/KRF for 20 years and this past Saturday 7-21 Peter Criss of KISS fame was featured. I can't remember the last time I heard him speak at all of the band members after his alienation in the late 1970s. How Steele gets these guys to talk about these taboo topics is beyond us in the deaprtment and we actually use elements of these weekly interviews in class for prep and speech planning. Criss spilled everything but his social security number, this was a truly well-written hour.
Just wondering why the versions aired over Sirius at later dates contain extra material not featured on the KRZ/KRF show on Saturdays. Regardless these are the templates on how to do "appointment" radio, there is none better!
