KRZ

Rocky and Sue announced Sue's departure to focus on real estate this morning.

Can more be read into this? More changes coming?

Mornings on KRZ won't be the same without her. I definitely think there is something more to this. She's been balancing real estate and radio for a while now. Why is she leaving all of a sudden?

I wouldn't be surprised if more syndicated shows are in place in the wake of the departures.

Plus Jeff Walker has been on the station since its inception. He is in his 50's(I believe) and still caters to the young crowd. He has his own sidekick to keep his show sounding fresh.

I also have an old tape from '89 with a commercial featuring Rocky & Sue doing the Birthday Bash contest. How times change.

"WKRZ/Wilkes-Barre Morning Co-Host Sue Barre Plans Exit: Discussion"

Sue Barre leaves. Does this leave WKRZ Wilkes-Barre just "Wilkes" without "Barre"?

Just a funny Radio-Info headline I noticed......

Hopefully it is a sign the economy is getting better but I doubt it.....

Just heard this morning that Ryan Seacrest is now 10-3.

So this means five hours of Seacrest on the radio, and syndication in general.

After Kelly's departure, it seems that management was unwilling to replace her and instead wanted to add an extra hour to each day-time show (Rocky and Sue, Seacrest, and Jeff Walker). Perhaps Sue couldn't fit the extra hour of air time into her schedule and for this reason left KRZ.
