KRZR

An educated guess? It’s either a switch from Hard Drive XL to Premium Choice or a concert announcement (like Manfest).

I haven’t heard anything about (more) staff reductions and I don’t think Chris Daniel is gonna bail on KMJ for another run at the Wild Hare.

But as long as we’re talking about changes at KRZR: Who was the hydroencephalitic mastermind behind firing Dale Barry? The guy had been there since the beginning, was working for peanuts, and was the artist behind every representation of the Wild Hare since 1989.

Nice show of loyalty, guys…

Or how about following the lead of KWOD-106.5 and change to be the second "All 90's Format" in the U.S.? But really, I agree with the other Sam. Probably nothing major but I could be wrong.

May go the direction of Sister Station in LA 98.7 KYSR and go Alternative or go with AAA like KSWD 100.3 in LA. Last time they did a stunt, announcing KRZR is saying goodbye a few years ago, it was goodbye to MANCOW, so maybe a morning show change.

KRZR is getting ready to celebrate their 20th Anniversary June 17 at 12 noon,When X104 KMGX switched to KRZR "Today's Rock and Roll" with the first song being "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" by Great White, with the first DJ being McFly, and of coarse Chris Daniel and E. Curtis Johnson that are still in Fresno started this station that literally dominated the competition KKDJ 105.9.

McFly? Not George McFly of Chicago's B96?

KFRR 104.1 is also doing a countdown to Monday morning at 9AM, I wonder if it's just a promo for a concert coming up and their both are promoting the same concert, or is it some kind of a frequency swap where one will remain Active Rock and the other will do something different.

Doe listeners and even clients care about these kind of tactics any longer? - You could say you
are now Fresno's Polka station and no one would care. Last station that tried stunting was the
switch of 106.3 in 2006. They screwed that up so bad with several different names and owners
after that - No one even remembers their cool stunting.

Just what I figured, just a promo for their 20th anniversary, A party.
