KSAN pulls a 2.5 6+, better than KFOG and KUFX/KUZX at this moment. As I type this they're playing the Eagles' "Hotel California." If you put this question to KSAN, the answer would be "yes." What do you hear when you listen to them and/or stream them?

I'd call that Classic Rock, wouldn't you?
 
They also play a lot of grunge music from the 90s, and even some hard rock from the 2000s, so it's hard to pigeonhole them as classic rock. However, classic rock stations are starting to play grunge now.

On the other hand, they don't really play much current music, except perhaps new music by older bands (Foo Fighters, Green Day).

As a side note, does mainstream rock even exist as a format now? Most stations that play current rock seem to be either Active Rock or Alt Rock.
