KSAZ doing nice job of disclosure

Channel 10 seems to not be missing a beat when it comes to disclosure of their ownership whenever reporting on the News Corporation scandal. Which is good. *applause*

That's good to hear! Just wish they weren't forced to use those ridiculous Fox "graphics". Even the experienced anchors end up talking over them or having the graphics interrupt them. ::)

That's why, in my wildest dreams, I wish they could return to their stunning "Channel 10 News"/"Spirit of Arizona" image from the 1990s.

applause - Your thread had me wondering if the Big FOX was also coming clean like Channel 10. It seems not. I watched the alleged Fox News ( channel 205 on Dish ) this afternoon. When it came time to do the "Rebeka Brooks story" I could have missed it...but they made no mention of ownership disclosure.

Perhaps, this could be a moot point in the very near future?
If the "stuff rolls any further upstairs" Rupert and James Murdoch may not be owners of record much longer. We can only hope... ;)

Then Channel TEN could again use "Newscenter 10 PM" ;D

Meh, I think most people would find that branding dated. But an update of the Channel 10 News 1994 package — though, sadly, new music would be required to keep it modern — would look great. It was such a good campaign and it was never given the chance to last thanks to the Fox deal.

Why would "Newscenter 10" be dated? It couldn't be any worse than the old-school name "Channel xx News". But, sadly, we have to either put the network before the number (i.e. Fox 10 or ABC 15 or CBS 5) or put the number first (12 News or 3TV News). Not terribly creative...

Time for Channel 12 to bring back "Hello, Arizona" and Action News!! :D
