KSCS & KTYS

might have something to do with everyone getting waxed on Friday. Allaboutcountry.com has reported that Hunter is out at KSCS and Crash is sticking around...but word is...everyone else is out at KTYS. Looks like they're positioning Crash for Hunter's spot? Should be interesting. I'd imagine we'll hear more about it this afternoon.

Sounds familiar... This is what they did Friday at WJZW. Never a good sign when the entire staff exits. They flipped WJZW at 2pm CST on Friday. Wonder if the tornado warning is about to be canceled for DFW? What format would replace it? It is obvious that they are not in the smooth jazz business.

I don't think so.... Not sure, though.

What do you think will happen with station?? I'm really interested in what's going to happen in a few days.

I LOVE the Twister, but KSCS is still my favorite... and Jeremy is by far my favorite DJ. Whatever is happening, I'm happy with him being on mid-days there. I hope the Twister survives, though.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say Jeremy is my favorite DJ, but he does give something to that station that it has lacked: Energy, life, momentum, solid mechanics. He doesn't sound burned out, like some other djs ive heard. And also, speaking of KSCS, anythings better than that Brother Van disaster they had on as their night show. It was all over the place. He seems like a fun guy, but probably shouldnt have his own show.

Who's Blair Gardner, the overnight guy?

Charles,
Blair Garner is syndicated out of LA I believe. He hosts a nationwide overnight program called "After MidNite." It's been around forever. I worked at a station that used it back in 1996.

Thanks Neal

I think Hondo was syndicated or something, and not coming out of The Twister. Anyone smelling format change there as the days wear on? Peck did Wild 100 and Mix 102.9 (IIRC) before KTYS...so he's keep-able for a different format, depending on what it is. Never heard or heard of Crash Poteet or "Carlotta," but there may be a reason to keep them as well.

Yeah, I do smell a format change happening or a total re-launch to a Americana type format (MAYBE).

Looks like it may be time to cover yourself with a mattress and head to the inner most
part of your house, this 'Twisters' leaving, but it could get messy....
