With Chris Huff staying on? Ok. Hope so. Hear he's a good kid.

I hope he's still there too. I think he's the Operations Manager.

That's a great station. They play a good variety. New country mixed with some older stuff.

From the story quoting Kelly (who will also continue to program Memphis and Nashville):

"'I’m really looking forward to working with PD CHRIS HUFF and the staff here in DALLAS to continue the growth of the station.

HUFF will retain his title as PD of KSCS.'"

Dave Kelly....wasn't he at KYKX/Longview for a period of time?

Holstead was a fairly good guy. A little temper driven at times and not as crazy as his Dad but still a great kid back in his younger days. Granted he did not have the 'saint' status of Chris Huff or Jason Walker but he was still a neat youngster to know.

Of all my adventures in radio (and only God knows all the stories that could be told), as I look back the most grateful and proud moments of my career were contributing in some small way to the likes of these three fantastic people and others like them and now seeing what they have become......

Newbee's take note and learn from the likes of them. Nobody does it better.

I digress! So much for memory lane, now back to the present....
