Honestly this is starting to sound like "the twister" of old.My feelings but I just remember it and as to now, there is not much difference.

i don't consider Garth Brooks as "New Country" or "Should've Been A Cowboy".

Allan Peck said on his Facebook that they were getting the behind the scenes stuff together and all would be returning to the air on Monday.

Once again, Shannon is right on target...... Sounds like another 90 day wonder is strutting their lack of experience and real radio experience to justify their job... It's called "walking on crutches and calling them wings"... I can not even begin to count all the times this has occurred in DFW...

Michelle Rodriguez takes over nights, she used to work at The Wolf. What a blow this is for The Wolf.

Yeah you're right. To lose your jock from a daypart that isn't rated, a daypart that absolutely no advertisers buy, it's a huge loss. ::)

Is it even possible to make a living in DFW radio anymore? I have seriously thought about shooting them a resume, but don't know if it would be worth it. When I worked for KSCS/WBAP back in the 90's, it was a really good place to be.

Also Rebecca is no longer at the station

And according to the website, "The Dorsey Gang" is now "Hawkeye & Dorsey". Is Brother Van still there?

My mistake, Brother Van is still there

The Jeremy Show, had the most tempo, and the most current thing on the station...and they blow that off. Go figure. That show sounded more "New" than anything they did all day. But talent aside, there is no musical sense to what they are doing. Are they "new" country or "most country". New cant include old Josh Turner, Boot skootin Boogie and the songs they are playing that are all over the place. When they were "Biggest Hits" you can be current as they were at the time, and get away with monster older songs as long as they were in a reasonable era... They need to define themselves..clearly...and keep the promise. I don't know what to expect from their positioning, cause I don't hear what it is on the radio.

Was the "Jeremy Show" not being syndicated on the "America's Best Country" format? I seem to remember hearing him on a local affiliate at some point. Talented dude.

Any new news on Rebecca? Would they really blow her out and have no news? Those are big shoes to fill, I always thought she was the perfect fit for that show.

The Wolf might not realize it cause they obviously had no idea how to market and promote Michelle Rodriguez, but, in the long run, her departure will be a big loss for The Wolf. We'll see if KSCS is smarter and better able to take advantage of having Michelle on their airwaves.
