KSEH Brawley, CA reaches Texas

I was driving in the Texas Hill Country this afternoon and caught a Spanish language station on 94.5 doing battle with "The Buzz" from Houston and KFRQ (Q 94.5 playing "Round and Round") around 2:00 this afternoon. I caught the ID for the Spanish station and it was KSEH Brawley, CA. I've pulled in California FM's here in the San Antonio area in the past, but this time, the dial was relatively normal, with the lone California exception. Granted the FM dial is a lot more crowded now, but how rare is it for only one e-skip to make it through?

Yesterday's E-skip throughout the country was regarded as being quite "spotty". This happens occasionally, for reasons that I don't know, where only a few (or one station in your case) stations make it in, often with very unstable signals with quick fade ups and deep lulls.

Also, if the endpoint was concentrated in the desert areas around Brawley, there are not very many radio stations around there to receive (until paths creep into LA, Vegas or San Diego).
