KSEQ PD???

Now that KSEQ's PD is out... after taking the station from respectable numbers... to it's current place, what's next for Q97? And please don't say, "format flip"... they're not giving up that easily.

KSEQ needs to bring back the Latin Vibe. Play Hip Hop/R&B, but also sprinkle in Freestyle, Reggaeton and some House too. They had great numbers when they were spinning the Latin House stuff.<P ID="signature">______________

That might not work as well now that Fresno has a full time Reggaeton station. That's a big change in the structure of the market compared to the last time Del Rio was PD at KSEQ.

They very much need to do something, and already have! The station sounds very different already. Every song is a hit now. What a concept!

Re: KSEQ PD???/what happened

How does a guy go to San Diego and Sacramento, and lose
both jobs in what 12 months?. Bad luck or what?

He didn't lose both jobs. He left San Diego to go to Sacramento. And Sacramento apparently has some dirty internal politics that he was victim to. It doesn't change the fact that he's taken success everywhere he goes, including giving The Bomb their first ever #1 18-34 book - they've never #1 in anything...

That's the word I got from someone who works at Entravision/Sacramento, but another station.

Your information is inaccurate. There was internal drama and illegal drama as well. There's a reason why certain people are no longer working in Sacramento. And that comes from far more reliable sources than someone working across the hall.
