KSFA has just filed for a license for their translator, it has been a long time coming as the three year window is almost over. Confusingly, they put it on their shortish AM tower way outside of town.
It's extra odd considering that KSFA, with just 175 watts at night, is almost a daytimer with little coverage on the Lufkin side of the market. This translator will do okay in the south half of Nacogdoches but basically miss all of Lufkin.
