It looks like they have dropped new rock altogether, and even 90's artists like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc. Playlist includes a lot more Steve Miller, Bob Seger, and even Rod Stewart.
Not that I can tell. It seems as if KSHE's playlist looks much more similar to K-HITS. The exception being that K-HITS plays a lot of 80's artists that would probably be considered more pop than rock, such as Toto, The Outfield, Kenny Loggins, etc that KSHE still doesn't play.
Not sure about their ratings, but I did notice that KSHE's website is promoting a new Rock and Roll morning show that will be local. I also notice at the bottom of the webpage that they stated that they are going to play more variety of classic rock. To me, they sound a lot like Q95 out of Indy.
Good riddance to the Bob & Tom laugh track show. They should have been gone a long time ago. It will be interesting to see how a live local morning show does on KSHE. I hope the U-Man can make it work.
Has anyone caught the new morning show? I haven't had the chance yet. I do notice that KSHE has added Metallica, Shinedown, STP, Nickelback, etc to their playlist again.
I haven't had a chance to listen yet. But, it seems the goal is more music than talk. Here is an interesting interview with the U-Man from the KSHE website about the new morning show.
