KSLR 630 makes it to the border

I was in the McAllen area last week and was surprised to receive a weak, but listenable signal during the day from KSLR in San Antonio.

630 KSLR has quite a null to the south to protect (I’m guessing a now defunct) 630 AM out of the Monterrey area. When the 630 from Monterrey was on, it put a good signal into the Valley and challenged KSLR significantly just 50 or so miles south of San Antonio.

Even a tremendously nulled signal can get out with nothing standing in its way.
