KSOO Sioux Falls on day power

1000 AM KSOO is strong into my area with a baseball game right now, and at 9pm MDT, I heard their station ID. This seems to me like 10kw day power, which makes it the 2nd time I've heard them, and the first consistent listen.

Huh, this might not be a bad idea for the future considering KOMO is a North/South directional at night, and WMVP & KTOK are directional to the east, which leaves hole in the middle that could be filled by KSOO.

Finally got 'em!

1000 - KSOO SD, Sioux Falls; ad for D&D Small Engine Repair in Lennox, SD, mixed with KOMO Seattle. At times, the signal has been equal to KOMO. NEW #808, 10KW day power at 1,179 miles. Well-wanted! SD #8.

EDIT - MarioMania, Zantenna is in Cheyenne, WY.

Must be a night for Sioux Falls, as I also got 1050 KLOH after hearing a Country song and then matching the playlist. I can hear someone talking on 1320 when I face it Northeast, so probably KEZO, a relog.

Hmm... Now that KSOO switched to ESPN on August 1st, maybe they'll get some changes to their allocation since ESPN in Chicago is also on that frequency. I wonder how possible it would be for them to synchronize signals

Not possible since there is nothing in the rules that allow that. FCC doesn't allow that simply because they run the same format.
One can buy out the other (WOWO/WLIB, KGA/KSFN) or pay one to change their night pattern (KBOI/KIRN)
