KSPN adding “Greeny”, lineup shifts forward an hour

Greeny will run 7-9a, the rest of the lineup will shift forward an hour per RadioInsight.

I’m somewhat surprised that there’s no effort to be local in mornings on any LA sports outlets. I can understand KLAC being content with clearing Dan Patrick live in mornings, but this could’ve been an opportunity for KSPN. At least 7-9 will be live now!

When i saw KSPN had a week of announcements (one per day), I was hoping one would be putting ESPN LA on a KKGO or KLOS/KPWRD HD channel.

The 710 signal is so bad in SFV at night and in most of OC during the day. They could really use the help.

I'm glad they are winning play-by-play partnerships and expanding local programs, but you have to be available to the ears who want to hear you.

I can appreciate their push of their own app and it is in fact much much better than the trash that is TuneIn, but being able to clearly receive the station throughout the market on an HD radio sure would be beneficial.

My other question is, does KSPN still have that weird “partnership” with KLAA to air select ESPN shows on 830?
Is that a partnership between 710 and 830 or just a straight-up ESPN affiliation for 830? I’m pretty sure the only local programming on 830 is Roger Lodge in afternoons, and aside from Angels games the rest is ESPN Radio
