I read some past posts about the financial stability of the "Muzzy Group" of stations in Stevens Point, or I guess lack of stability would be more accurate. Does anyone have any more info. about Rick Muzzy, his reputation, any money problems, etc. I've had a couple bad deals over the years, and Rick Muzzy called me yesterday about an "opportunity". ANY feedback would be awesome. I live across the country. Thanx

So I hear from someone "in the know", Muzzy is doing better financially now. To be truthful, the people I know who worked for Muzzy had mixed feelings about him. One thing I do know, his stations could use some major help, and a person who knows what they are doing. They had that for a little while in 2001-2002 time period, and the stations went up in the ratings. So really, I guess it is totally your call. If it is about a PD position for WSPT, however, then you are in for a station that is currently having some issues, but really could do well again.
