I know there's always been talk on this board for the past few months on KSSE flipping due to its continuous struggles. Someone said that the flip might possibly happen around the summer, after it holds its big "Reventon" concert on July 18th. KDLD is also moving in on KSSE, by being near its share of the audience with a weaker signal. Will Entravision start simulcasting El Gato on 107.1 and move Super Estrella to 103.1 where it was back in the day? Or will Entravision move El Gato to 107.1 and start simulcasting Jose on 103.1 for more complete coverage of the LA Metro Area and just let go of Spanish Pop in LA? Will KSSE be even more effected if KXOS does grow on LA listeners? Will Entravision every consider bringing back Indie on 103.1 by moving El Gato to 107.1? Your thoughts here!

i did hear from the man in charge of indie1031.com and he was saying that indie doesn't have much time left before it shuts down. he said that entravision isn't investing any money into it - which explains the constant ads.
 
EVCV never gave much credence to Indie. The company is mostly a spanish language TV owner, so progressive alternative rock was never big on the radar. THey did drop the Super Estrella format from all of their radio markets that carried it earlier in the year so LA is all that is left and clearly the station does not have the ratings it should. SO many on-air changes over the last three years that it has been hard to maintain an loyal audience.
