I noticed on radio-locator.com that Jamn 95.7 has a construction permit to increase ERP from 28 kw to 30 kw, will they go from directional to non-directional because most of this stations audience live south of the 94 freeway where the signal gets real staticky.

They are reducing antenna height slightly and thus are able to increase power a tiny bit. Same pattern.


Changes like this are sometimes caused by things like new antennas for a TV station that leases space on its tower to the FM (particularly in the recent channel transitions for TV) or replacement of the tower due to aging or damage.
